  • 1>To meet someone,or to find something by chance

I came across some of my old love letters in my wife's drawer.  Have you ever come across such a horrible person in all your life?

  • 2>To behave in a way which makes people believe that you have a particular characteristic 

A lot depends on how well you come across in the interview.
